วันที่ 9 เมษายน 2567 – คณะการบริการและการท่องเที่ยว มหาวิทยาลัยสงขลานครินทร์ วิทยาเขตภูเก็ต ได้รับการรับรองการประเมินคุณภาพการศึกษา ระดับหลักสูตร ตามเกณฑ์ AUN-QA โดย ASEAN UNIVERSITY NETWORK QUALITY ASSURANCE ระดับปริญญาตรี จำนวน 2 สาขา ได้แก่ สาขาการจัดการการบริการ และสาขาการจัดการการท่องเที่ยว โดย รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.พรพิษณุ พรหมศิวะพัลลภ คณบดีคณะการบริการและการท่องเที่ยว เป็นตัวแทนอธิการบดี ในการมอบใบรับรองพร้อมช่อดอกไม้แก่หัวหน้าสาขาทั้ง 2 สาขา เพื่อเป็นการแสดงความยินดีและเชิดชูเกียรติ

คณะการบริการและการท่องเที่ยว มุ่งมั่นพัฒนาคุณภาพการศึกษาอย่างต่อเนื่อง การได้รับใบรับรองคุณภาพการศึกษา โดย ASEAN UNIVERSITY NETWORK: AUN ในครั้งนี้ สะท้อนให้เห็นถึงมาตรฐานการจัดการศึกษาที่มีคุณภาพระดับสากล เป็นการแสดงถึงความพร้อมของคณะฯ ในการผลิตบัณฑิตที่มีความรู้ ทัศนคติ ทักษะ และบันฑิตที่มีความเป็นพลเมืองโลก (Global Citizenship) ตรงตามความต้องการของตลาดงาน

ดังนั้นการรับรอง โดย เครือข่ายมหาวิทยาลัยอาเซียน (ASEAN UNIVERSITY NETWORK:AUN) เป็นการประเมินคุณภาพการศึกษาโดยใช้เกณฑ์มาตรฐานเดียวกันในภูมิภาคอาเซียน เป็นการยกระดับคุณภาพการศึกษาของมหาวิทยาลัยไทยให้เป็นที่ยอมรับในระดับสากล แสดงถึงความมุ่งมั่นของคณะการบริการและการท่องเที่ยว มหาวิทยาลัยสงขลานครินทร์ วิทยาเขตภูเก็ต ในการพัฒนาคุณภาพหลักสูตรและบัณฑิตอย่างต่อเนื่อง เพื่อผลิตบัณฑิตที่มีคุณภาพและขีดความในการแข่งขันในเวทีโลกได้

Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism, Phuket Campus, Prince of Songkla University, has been certified for educational quality standards under the AUN-QA framework for marketing and communication purposes. The certification was granted by the ASEAN University Network Quality Assurance on April 9, 2024.

On this date, the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism, Prince of Songkla University, Phuket Campus, received accreditation for its undergraduate programs in two disciplines: Hospitality Management and Tourism Management. Associate Professor Dr. Pornpisanu Promsivapallop Dean of the Faculty represented the university’s president in presenting the certificates along with flower bouquets to the heads of both programs, signifying congratulations, and honor.

The Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism is committed to continuous improvement in educational quality. The AUN certification reflects the internationally recognized standards of education management, demonstrating the faculty’s readiness to produce graduates with knowledge, attitudes, skills, and global citizenship qualities in line with labor market demands.

The AUN certification, conducted by the ASEAN University Network, employs consistent standards across the ASEAN region, aiming to elevate the quality of Thai universities to global recognition. It underscores the dedication of the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism, Prince of Songkla University, Phuket Campus, to the continuous development of program quality and the production of competitive graduates on the global stage.
