มหาวิทยาลัยสงขลานครินทร์ วิทยาเขตภูเก็ต ลงนามบันทึกข้อตกลงความร่วมมือกับ Oak Meadow International School Phuket (OMIS) เพื่อส่งเสริมความร่วมมือด้านการศึกษา การพัฒนาศักยภาพนักเรียน นักศึกษา และบุคลากรทางการศึกษา พร้อมทั้งสร้างโอกาสทางการศึกษาที่หลากหลายสำหรับเยาวชนในจังหวัดภูเก็ต
การลงนามครั้งนี้มี รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.พันธ์ ทองชุมนุม รองอธิการบดีวิทยาเขตภูเก็ตและ ดร.ผกามาศ หอมกอ ผู้อำนวยการ Oak Meadow International School Phuket เป็นผู้ลงนามในบันทึกข้อตกลงความร่วมมือ เพื่อร่วมกันพัฒนากิจกรรมทางวิชาการและเสริมสร้างเครือข่ายความร่วมมือด้านการศึกษาระหว่างสองสถาบัน
ภายใต้ความร่วมมือดังกล่าว ทั้งสองฝ่ายจะร่วมกันดำเนินกิจกรรมในหลายด้าน อาทิ การเปิดโอกาสให้นักเรียนระดับมัธยมศึกษาของ OMIS ศึกษาต่อในหลักสูตรนานาชาติของมหาวิทยาลัยสงขลานครินทร์ วิทยาเขตภูเก็ต การส่งเสริมนักศึกษามหาวิทยาลัยเข้าฝึกประสบการณ์ด้านการสอนในโรงเรียน การจัดบรรยายพิเศษหรือเวิร์กช็อปโดยคณาจารย์มหาวิทยาลัย ตลอดจนการใช้ทรัพยากรด้านการเรียนรู้ร่วมกัน เช่น ห้องสมุด ห้องปฏิบัติการ และสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกทางการศึกษา
นอกจากนี้ ยังมีการร่วมจัดกิจกรรมพัฒนาทักษะสำหรับนักเรียน เช่น ค่ายด้าน STEM และ Coding รวมถึงกิจกรรมเพื่อสังคมและสิ่งแวดล้อม ที่สอดคล้องกับแนวคิด Green Campus ของมหาวิทยาลัยสงขลานครินทร์ วิทยาเขตภูเก็ต
นับเป็นอีกก้าวสำคัญในการสร้างความร่วมมือทางการศึกษา เพื่อร่วมกันพัฒนาศักยภาพเยาวชนและยกระดับคุณภาพการศึกษาในจังหวัดภูเก็ต

PSU Phuket Partners with Oak Meadow International School Phuket to Sign MOU Enhancing Educational Opportunities and Youth Development
Prince of Songkla University, Phuket Campus has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Oak Meadow International School Phuket (OMIS) to strengthen educational collaboration, enhance the potential of students and educational personnel, and create broader educational opportunities for youth in Phuket Province.
The MOU was signed by Associate Professor Dr. Pun Thongchumnum, Vice President of Prince of Songkla University, Phuket Campus, and Dr. Pakamas Homkor, Director of Oak Meadow International School Phuket. The agreement aims to jointly develop academic activities and strengthen educational networks between the two institutions.
Under this collaboration, both parties will work together on several initiatives, including providing opportunities for OMIS secondary school students to pursue further studies in international programs at Prince of Songkla University, Phuket Campus; supporting university students in gaining teaching practicum experience at the school; organizing special lectures and workshops conducted by university faculty members; and sharing educational resources such as libraries, laboratories, and other academic facilities.
In addition, the two institutions will co-organize skill development activities for students, such as STEM and coding camps, as well as community and environmental initiatives aligned with the Green Campus concept of Prince of Songkla University, Phuket Campus.
This collaboration marks another important step in strengthening educational partnerships to develop youth potential and enhance the quality of education in Phuket Province.
