มหาวิทยาลัยสงขลานครินทร์จัดสัมมนาสภามหาวิทยาลัย (Retreat) และประชุมสภามหาวิทยาลัย ครั้งที่ 447 (5/2568) ระหว่างวันที่ 9–10 สิงหาคม 2568 ณ โรงแรมเพิร์ล เพื่อร่วมกำหนดยุทธศาสตร์และทิศทางการพัฒนามหาวิทยาลัย
พิธีเปิดโดย ศาสตราจารย์ ดร.สนิท อักษรแก้ว นายกสภามหาวิทยาลัยสงขลานครินทร์ และบรรยายพิเศษโดย ศาสตราจารย์กิตติคุณ นพ.จรัส สุวรรณเวลา อดีตนายกสภามหาวิทยาลัยสงขลานครินทร์ เรื่องบทบาทสภามหาวิทยาลัยในอดีต ปัจจุบัน และอนาคต พร้อมนำเสนอแนวคิดการพลิกโฉมมหาวิทยาลัยและแปลงยุทธศาสตร์สู่การปฏิบัติ
ภายในงานมีการแลกเปลี่ยนแนวคิดในประเด็นสำคัญ อาทิ การขับเคลื่อนงานวิจัย การพัฒนาทรัพยากรมนุษย์ เสถียรภาพทางการเงิน และการบริหารจัดการภายในมหาวิทยาลัย เพื่อเสริมศักยภาพ ม.อ. ให้พร้อมรับการเปลี่ยนแปลงในอนาคต นอกจากนี้แล้วยังมีงานแสดงมุฑิตาจิต แด่ศาสตราจารย์ กิตติคุณ นพ.จรัส สุวรรณเวลา
Prince of Songkla University (PSU) organized the University Council Retreat and the 447th University Council Meeting (5/2025) from 9–10 August 2025 at the Pearl Hotel, aiming to define strategic directions for the university’s development.
The opening ceremony was presided over by Professor Dr. Sanit Aksornkoae, President of the PSU Council, followed by a special lecture from Emeritus Professor Dr. Charas Suwanwela, former President of the PSU Council, on “The Role of the University Council in the Past, Present, and Future.” He also shared ideas on transforming the university and translating strategies into action.
The event featured discussions on key topics such as advancing research, developing human resources, ensuring financial stability, and enhancing internal management, all to strengthen PSU’s capacity to adapt to future changes.
