On February 25, 2026, Prince of Songkla University, Phuket Campus (PSU Phuket), led by Dr. Tagsina Sripracha, Assistant President for International Affairs, extended a warm welcome to Professor Dr. Khokiat Kengskool, Professor and Director of International Programs for Southeast Asia, College of Engineering and Computing, Florida International University (FIU), USA. The visit began at the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism (FHT) and later continued at the College of Computing (CoC).

At FHT, Ajarn Colin Gallagher, Assistant to the Dean for International Affairs, introduced Professor Khokiat to the faculty’s advanced student facilities and provided an overview of international exchange and study abroad programs.

At the College of Computing, Professor Khokiat conducted an educational guidance session for students, sharing insights into doctoral study opportunities at FIU. The session was followed by a discussion on potential joint research and student exchange initiatives with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aziz Nanthaamornphong, Dean of the College of Computing.

The visit provided an opportunity to further strengthen the growing ties between PSU and FIU, paving the way for expanded international opportunities and enhanced higher education support for PSU Phuket students, particularly those from the College of Computing.
