Applications for the APEC-Australia Women in Research Fellowship have now opened until 17 May 2022. Up to 20 fellowships of AU$20,000 each will be offered for women post-doctorate researchers to work in partnership with an Australian education institution to undertake a research project over one to four months. This round of the fellowship aims to increase the participation of women and girls in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM), by supporting and empowering women with the necessary skills to succeed and adapt to an increasingly complex, changing technological world.

The fellowships are open to female researchers who are citizens or permanent residents of the nine ODA-eligible APEC economies: China, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico, Papua New Guinea, Peru, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam.
