PSU BRAND IDENTITY

To let people discover the way to progress in their own pace, Prince of Songkla University disseminates knowledge with academic, professional and life skills through in-depth comprehension from various practical fields, developing research, innovation, and academic services that are beneficial to the community and the global society. The in-depth comprehension of real-world issues happens on our five campuses covering 14 southern provinces. Promoting unity and a thorough understanding of the geography and various cultures, including mountains, rivers, forests, and seas, the entire South becomes a learning and research area stretching beyond the university’s physical boundaries.

PSU Identity System

PSU Logo

The PSU logo is a symbol used to communicate and publicize Prince of Songkla University for wider renown. It presents a forward-thinking and friendly image of the university.

The PSU logo, composed of blue PSU letters and light blue Navigation Maker symbols, conveys the story of the journey, with “Destination” and “Starting Point” as the stronghold, giving direction, motivating for action, and not giving up on every obstacle. Whether it is a society based on work, research, inventing innovations, fostering social dependence on building a better future, discovering one's own potential, learning, students gain experiences applicable to the real-world job market.

The PSU logo is used in communication and press release media, both inside and outside the organization, including on student ID cards, brochures, billboards, etc.

It's a word that expresses identity and a summary of the image of Prince of Songkla University. It serves to amplify and create memories.

Standard PSU logo space designation requires that the space around the logo on all sides be equal to ½ the height of the letter P.

PSU Identity Colors

The PSU identity colors “Shades of Blue” represent the uniqueness of the university, its diversity that leads to creative problem-solving ideas from a deep integration of multi-dimensional perspectives. PSU identity consists of the following six colors:


1. Two primary colors: PSU Deep Blue and PSU Sky Blue.
2. Four secondary colors: PSU Ocean Blue, PSU Andaman Blue, PSU River Blue, and PSU Sritrang.

Graphic Device

The graphic device “PSU Journey Route” conveys the story of the path to success with a destination as the target, and a starting point for action when reaching the destination, then looking for a new destination to start the next journey endlessly, bringing one’s self, community, and society to a better place. PSU’s graphic device consists of a blue journey route (PSU Deep Blue) and a light blue navigation maker (PSU Blue Sky). Its usability can be applied to creative design. The proportion between the Navigation Maker points, the distance and the thickness of the Journey Route line must always be accurate, specified in the following proportions:
