PSU Thai Cultural Camp 2023 was an eye-opening experience to learn about the “Land of Smiles”
The PSU International Affairs Office invited students from partner universities to participate in PSU Thai Cultural Camp 2023 from 6-19 August 2023. This camp was held with the objective to provide the opportunity for the 17 participants from China and Taiwan to learn about Thai culture, with the enthusiastic support of eight Thai buddies all the way through the camp.
During this outstanding summer program, participants had the chance to enhance their skills by participating in various activities and classes, such as Thai language, Thai way of life, arts workshop, cooking Thai food and desserts, practicing traditional medicine, boxing, music, dancing, and Thai folk sports. A visit to a Songkhla Old Town and the Folklore Museum allowed participants to learn about multi-cultural southern Thailand.
The highlight of the camp was a four-day trip to Phuket province, with a wide variety of activities, including snorkeling around the wonderful islands of southern Thailand, a visit to the famous Phuket night market, relaxing on picturesque beaches, and enjoying the sunset at Promthep Cape.
The two-week long Thai Cultural Camp 2023 enriched participants with beautiful moments and memories of a lifetime.
