Students from all over the southern region attended the 25th Higher Education Conference
PSU’s Global Affairs and Corporate Communication Center, along with the Office of the Permanent Secretary for the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation, and university networks, organized the 25th Higher Education Conference at the PSU International Convention Center. The event aimed to promote Thai and international higher education institutions to high school students, teachers, parents, and the general public, helping students choose their preferred fields of study. The opening ceremony was chaired by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thakerng Wongsirichot, Vice President for Academic Affairs and International Relations.
The conference featured lectures on PSU’s admission procedures by Dr. Morakot Kaewphet, Head of the PSU Public Relations of Admission and Testing Center ("TCAS67: Timelines and Admission Procedures.") and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chalie Charoenlarpnopparut, TCAS System Manager and an executive member of the Thai Association of University Presidents. Various institutions participating in the evet presented their programs, while attendees enjoyed games and received numerous prizes and souvenirs.
The 25th Higher Education Conference took place on 17 and 18 August 2023, with more than 100 institutions, including national and international universities, participating in the event. A total of 137 booths were set up, and 123 high schools from 14 southern provinces attended, with an estimated 10,000 students per day. The event also attracted the general public to other activities organized by PSU, such as the Science Week at the Faculty of Science, and various academic events at other faculties.
