U.S. Embassy delegates visit PSU
On 13 June 2023, Mr. Dick Custin, Counselor for Public Affairs, together with Ms. Frances Westbrook, Director, Regional English Language Office, and honorable delegates from the U.S. Embassy visited Prince of Songkla University’s Hat Yai Campus. PSU’s Assistant President for Promotion of Foreign Affairs Assoc. Prof. Dr. Janya Chanchaichuchit, along with representatives from the PSU Faculty of Liberal Arts and the International Affairs Office welcomed the delegates at the President’s Office Building.
The main objectives of the visit were to become better acquainted with the university, help strengthening English language teaching at PSU, and promote exchange programs with US educational institutions. Opportunities for PSU students to study in the US, and specific potential collaboration in English language education were also discussed.
After the fruitful meeting, the honorable delegates visited the Faculty of Liberal Arts to further discuss possible collaboration and other joint projects.
