PSU organized the 10th National and International Conference on Education (NICE) 2023 for the sustainable and fair development of education




    The PSU Faculty of Education on Pattani Campus joined the Educational Network to organize the 10th National and International Conference on Education (NICE) 2023 under the theme “Cultivating Sustainable and Equitable Education for All” on 8-9 June 2023, in response to the intentions of Thailand's National Education Plan and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals for the sustainable and fair development of education. The event served as a forum for academics, educators, and researchers to present and disseminate their academic work by exchanging knowledge and giving opinions on academic development, as well as expanding the educational network to foster cooperation and improve the quality of education. PSU President Asst. Prof. Dr. Niwat Keawpradup chaired the event, with Asst. Prof. Dr. Attachai Ueranantasun, Vice President for Pattani Campus, giving a welcoming speech.



Dr. Niwat explained that the conference is an excellent venue of collaboration for both domestic and international networks, with the Faculty of Education, PSU Pattani as the main host. It also serves as a forum for exchanging knowledge, sharing experiences, and having future collaborations between academics and presenters in the education industry.

Dr. Attachai pointed out that this conference is related to the vision of PSU Pattani Campus, that is, a university for innovation and society with academic excellence and being the main mechanism for the development of the South and the country. More specifically, the mission of developing the university into a knowledge-based society, building academic leadership, integrating and applying knowledge.

In closing, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ekkarin Sungtong, Dean of the Faculty of Education, said that this conference is attended by educators, researchers, and students from ASEAN and around the world, with the shared goal of exchanging knowledge and experience, and creating research networks for future cooperation. This year, 19 institutions acted as co-hosts for national conferences, and 20 institutions for international conferences, with a total of 178 research papers submitted (164 for national conferences and 14 for international conferences).
