On March 20, 2567, Her Excellency Dr. Angela Macdonald, Australian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Thailand, visited Prince of Songkla University, Pattani Campus. Asst. Prof.Dr. Attachai Ueranantasun, Vice President for Pattani campus, Asst.Prof.Dr. Montira Leelakriangsak Vice President for Academic Affairs and Asst.Prof.Dr. Warapark Maitreephun Assistant President for Research and Social Mission, Pattani Campus welcomed the delegation to the campus, in honor of this extraordinary occasion.

As part of the visit, Her Excellency also attended a discussion session on peace-building processes along the Southern Border Provinces of Thailand. This discourse featured Asst.Prof.Dr. Kusuma Kooyai, Director, Institute for Peace Studies, Prince of Songkla University, and Asst.Prof.Dr. Srisompob Jitpiromsri, a lecturer from the Center for Conflict Studies and Cultural Diversity (CSCD), Institute for Peace Studies, delivered lectures on the aforementioned topic. The event was hosted at the Charoen Pradit Meeting Room, Pattani Campus Office, Prince of Songkla University, Pattani Campus.
