On March 6, 2024, at VijarnSupphakit Conference Room, Office of Pattani Campus, His Excellency Rachmat Budiman, Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to the Kingdom of Thailand, along with delegates from the Embassy of The Republic of Indonesia to the Kingdom of Thailand visited Prince of Songkla University, Pattani Campus. Their arrival was graciously welcomed by Assistant Professor Dr. Montira Leelagriangsak, Vice President for Academic Affairs, administrators, faculty members, and staff members. This visit aimed to strengthen the alliance and participate in discussions on collaboration.

During the meeting, university executives revealed that PSU has conducted various activities and strengthened collaborations with educational institutions in Indonesia. Among these activities are hosting Indonesian students at Prince of Songkla University, exchanging short-term students, conducting joint research among faculty members, providing scholarship funding for students, and participating in cultural exchanges.

On this occasion, His Excellency Rachmat Budiman, Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Thailand, stated, "The visit to Prince of Songkla University, is a positive indication to increase and develop collaborations between our two countries in promoting education and cultural exchanges in several aspects related, it is intended to enhance collaboration between us, and we will be supported in part by the Indonesian Embassy."

Assistant Professor Dr. Montira Leelagriangsak, Vice President for Academic Affairs, Pattani Campus, stated, "On behalf of Prince of Songkla University, Pattani Campus, it is our great honor to welcome His Excellency Rachmat Budiman and host this significant event. This visit of His Excellency to our university reflects the strong relationship and collaboration between the nations. It underscores the importance of promoting academic, linguistic, and cultural exchanges, as well as strengthening interregional relations between Indonesia and Thailand."
