PSU, the Thailand Professional Qualification Institute, and the Rubber Authority sign MOU, in collaborative efforts to elevate standards in para rubber cultivation
On January 5, 2024, Asst. Prof. Dr. Niwat Keawpradub, PSU President, participated in a signing Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) ceremony with Thailand Professional Qualification Institute. (Public Organization) and The Rubber Authority of Thailand to promote knowledge and skills among professionals in the cultivation of para rubber trees in 7 occupations. The ultimate objective is to reduce production costs, increase income for workers, and foster sustainable practices within rubber cultivation at the household level.
Asst. Prof. Dr. Niwat stated that the MOU represents a collaborative effort to synergize and cooperate for the benefit of the country. The goal is to elevate capabilities, create human resource through education, and develop various forms of skills and experiences. This includes fostering knowledge, skills, and experiences to contribute to the development of people in the country. The aim is to link education to lifelong learning, establish learning models for national competitiveness, and enhance the quality of life for society and communities. Asst. Prof. Dr. Niwat expressed gratitude to both Thailand Professional Qualification Institute (Public Organization) and The Rubber Authority of Thailand. This initiative also underscores PSU's dedication to becoming a valuable institution that actively engages in partnerships for the betterment of society and the nation as a whole.
