PSU and IPF host exclusive lectures by five Nobel laureates





    To celebrate its 55th anniversary, PSU will host a series of exclusive lectures by five Nobel Laureates in Economics, Physics, Chemistry, and Medicine at PSU Hat Yai Campus, in collaboration with the International Peace Foundation (IPF).

    The special lectures are also part of the JAPAN-ASEAN BRIDGES event series to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Japan-ASEAN relations. Facilitated by IPF and sponsored by Mitsui Fudosan Group, Dusit Hotels and Resorts, Kasikornbank Public Co. Ltd., and BMW (Thailand) Co. Ltd., the JAPAN-ASEAN BRIDGES event series will take place in Japan and Thailand from November 2023 until March 2024, featuring events by several hosts from the two countries. PSU will co-host the events listed below:



15 November 2023 (Wednesday): the PSU Faculty of Medical Technology will co-host the lecture titled “Spreading peace through science and commerce in emerging economies” by Dr. Sir Richard J. Roberts, Nobel Laureate for Medicine, at the PSU International Convention Center (PSU ICC).

29 November 2023 (Wednesday): the PSU Faculty of Science will co-host the lecture titled “The importance of science for peace-building” by Prof. Takaaki Kajita, Nobel Laureate for Physics, at the Pradit Cheuychit Lecture Center (Pumpkin Building), Faculty of Science.
