PSU students won top award at Best Global ESG Conference 2023 in Seoul, Korea
Third-year students from the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism, PSU Phuket Campus, Ms. Kwanruthai Chawtai, Ms. Worapun Krueyos and Mr. Chatmongkhon Manfuenfphan, participated in the Best Global ESG Conference 2023 presentation competition. The event was organized by the University of Houston in Seoul, Republic of Korea. The student jointly presented their work on the topic of “The limitless ACCESS app for traveling disabled persons (DPs)”, and won the Best ESG Global Student Challenge award. The students’ work and presentation was overseen by Dr. Ramil Ravanes and Ms. Veronica Jamieson as advisors, along with Asst. Prof. Tatiyaporn Jarumaneerat and Asst. Prof. Kullada Phetvaroon as supervisors and coordinators during the competition.
Hong Kong Polytechnic University got second place during this event, and a total of 12 teams from universities in the US and Asia have qualified for the final round.
