PSU Strengthens Psychologist Network Across Five Campuses Professional Supervision Enhances Student Well-being Support
Prince of Songkla University (PSU), through the Student Development and Alumni Relations Division, organized the 2nd PSU Psychologist Supervision Program 2026, under the theme “Reflect, Learn and Grow: Beyond the Session,” from 7–8 September 2026 at PSU Hat Yai Campus.
The program brought together psychologists and clinical psychologists from PSU’s five campuses to strengthen professional competencies, build a collaborative learning network, and enhance the University’s student mental health and well-being support system.
A key focus was Professional Supervision, providing a supportive space for psychologists to reflect on their work, exchange experiences, and learn from real case studies with professional guidance. The process aims to strengthen professional skills and decision-making while also promoting the well-being of psychologists and helping reduce work-related burnout.
The program followed the framework “Support → Reflection → Professional Supervision → Growth & Well-being,” emphasizing support for those who provide care, reflective practice, shared professional learning, and sustainable professional growth alongside self-care.
Noraphan Thongchueam, a psychologist and Cognitive Behavioral Therapist, served as the program’s facilitator and supervisor. Activities included reflective workshops, case presentations and discussions, case consultation, and professional development planning, enabling participants to apply what they learned to student support services on their respective campuses.
The program also strengthened connections among psychologists across PSU’s five campuses, encouraging the continued exchange of knowledge, best practices, and professional support.
Through this initiative, PSU aims to build a stronger and more sustainable mental health support network, while enhancing the quality and continuity of care for students across the University.
