PSU Trang Student Takes the International Stage at Lancang-Mekong Youth Dialogue in China Sharing Youth Perspectives on Digital Innovation and Regional Cooperation
A student from the Faculty of Commerce and Management, PSU Trang Campus, was selected to participate in the “Lancang-Mekong Cooperation Dialogue at the Source”, held from 26–30 August 2026 in Xining and Yushu, Qinghai Province, China.
Nattaphon Jongkraijak, a student in Information Management and Digital Technology, joined participants from across the Lancang-Mekong region to exchange perspectives, learn from different cultures, and build international networks.
As part of the program, Nattaphon participated in “The Lancang-Mekong Youth Dialogue,” where he presented on “Youth Development Opportunities and Innovation Pathways in the Digital Age under the Lancang-Mekong Cooperation Framework.”
His presentation applied knowledge in information management and digital technology to explore opportunities for youth development and innovation amid rapid technological change, while highlighting the role of young people in strengthening regional and international cooperation.
The “Lancang-Mekong Cooperation Dialogue at the Source” was organized by the Qinghai Provincial Government in collaboration with China News Service, marking the 10th anniversary of the Lancang-Mekong Cooperation, or LMC. The program promoted cultural exchange and provided a platform for participants to discuss key issues related to the development of the Lancang-Mekong region.
Participants also took part in thematic discussions and cultural activities, gaining first-hand experience of local communities and culture in Qinghai Province while developing cross-cultural communication skills and international perspectives.
Nattaphon’s participation reflects the potential of PSU Trang students to apply academic knowledge to regional development issues, build international experience and networks, and prepare themselves to contribute to a more innovative and sustainable future within the Lancang-Mekong region.
