Prince of Songkla University (PSU), through the Organizational Quality Management Center, organized the PSU Quality Forum 2026, providing a platform for sharing and learning from best practices across the University. The event also featured the presentation of the PSU Quality Awards, recognizing outstanding initiatives while encouraging continuous improvement and sustainable development throughout the University.

The opening ceremony was presided over by Asst. Prof. Dr. Niwat Keawpradub, President of Prince of Songkla University, while Assoc. Prof. Dr. Karndee Sunthornphan, Vice President for Quality Development and Risk Management, delivered the welcoming remarks. University executives and personnel from all five PSU campuses also participated in the event. The forum was held at the Conference Hall of the 60th Anniversary of His Majesty the King’s Accession to the Throne International Convention Center on August 25, 2026.

Asst. Prof. Dr. Niwat Keawpradub said that the PSU Quality Forum was organized to recognize and congratulate faculties and units that have developed outstanding practices and to encourage knowledge sharing across the University. He emphasized that knowledge sharing is an essential part of effective knowledge management. The knowledge and experience developed by PSU personnel represent valuable organizational assets, created through dedication, innovation, and continuous improvement. Sharing these practices enables other units to learn from them, build upon successful approaches, and apply them as models for improving the quality of their work.

The forum therefore contributes to PSU’s development as a sustainable learning organization. It also provides an opportunity to strengthen engagement between University executives and personnel, foster collaboration, and build shared confidence in advancing PSU toward organizational excellence.

This year, faculties and units across PSU submitted 105 best-practice projects in three presentation formats, including 75 Poster Presentations, reflecting the University community’s continued commitment to quality improvement. Executives, faculty members, researchers, and administrative personnel from all five campuses participated in the forum to exchange knowledge, experience, and practical approaches to organizational development. The program also featured several special lectures and knowledge-sharing activities.

Professor Dr. Anchana Prathep, Dean of the Faculty of Science, delivered a special lecture entitled “Roadmap to Carbon Neutrality.” Associate Professor Dr. Jarungphan Musikavong, Deputy Dean for Research and Innovation, Faculty of Engineering, delivered special lectures on “PSU Carbon Neutrality” and “PSU Smart Solar Grid.” The forum also featured Best Practice Oral Presentations from six units on the main stage, Oral Presentations in four parallel sessions, a Poster Presentation exhibition and voting session, as well as the announcement of the PSU Quality Award recipients.
