PSU Hosts 28th Higher Education Program Fair, Drawing Students from Across Southern Thailand in a Lively Turnout
Prince of Songkla University, through the Office of Education and Innovative Learning, in collaboration with the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation and its university network, hosted the 28th Higher Education Curriculum Exhibition on 18–19 August 2026 at the 60th Anniversary of His Majesty the King’s Accession to the Throne International Convention Center, PSU Hat Yai Campus. The event provided high school students, teachers, parents, and the public with access to information on Thai and international degree programs, university admissions, and higher education opportunities.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pongsaton Amornpitoksuk, Assistant President for Student Admissions, presided over the opening ceremony. The event welcomed students from secondary schools across 14 southern provinces. The exhibition served as a platform for universities and educational institutions to share information directly with prospective students, helping them explore their interests and make informed decisions about their future studies.
A key highlight was the session “DECODE TCAS70: Decoding University Admissions – Make the Right Choice and Reach Your Goal,” presented by Associate Professor Dr. Chalee Charoenlarpnopparut, TCAS System Manager from the Council of University Presidents of Thailand.
This year, 95 institutions and organizations from Thailand and abroad participated, with more than 147 exhibition booths showcasing academic programs and educational opportunities. The event was expected to welcome more than 20,000 visitors. Held alongside other academic activities across PSU, including Science Week, the exhibition offered young people an opportunity to explore educational pathways and prepare for the next step in their academic journey.
