PSU Science Park hosts PSU Innovation BRIDGE to advance innovation economy and industry




Prince of Songkla University, led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Niwat Keawpradup, President of the University, hosted PSU Innovation BRIDGE, an initiative designed to promote the commercialization of research and innovation by connecting the University's research capabilities with the needs of the business and industrial sectors. The event also provided opportunities for technology transfer, research collaboration, and the strategic use of intellectual property to strengthen business competitiveness while supporting Thailand's innovation-driven economy and priority industries. The event was attended by Associate Professor Dr. Sunthorn Wongsiri, Vice President for Research and Innovation, Assistant Professor Kamron Pitak, Director of PSU Science Park, distinguished guests, university personnel, and members of the media. It was held at PSU Science Park, Prince of Songkla University, Hat Yai District, Songkhla Province, on June 25, 2026.


During the event, researchers from Prince of Songkla University presented their innovations to representatives from the private sector, including:

1. A Microfluidic Sperm Selection Device for Assisted Reproductive Technology, presented by Associate Professor Dr. Chainarong Choksuchat from the Faculty of Medicine.
2. An Artificial Intelligence-Based Sperm Analysis System, presented by Associate Professor Dr. Chainarong Choksuchat from the Faculty of Medicine.
3. PressureGuard Matrix, an intelligent sensor system for the continuous monitoring and prevention of pressure injuries, presented by Associate Professor Dr. Chainarong Choksuchat from the Faculty of Medicine.
4. A Ready-to-Use Biomaterial for Alveolar Ridge Preservation, presented by Associate Professor Dr. Srisurang Suttapriyasri from the Faculty of Dentistry.
5. An Automated Blood Test Processing System for Chemotherapy Decision Support via the LINE Application, presented by Ms. Apinya Parisutthikul from the Faculty of Medicine.



Through PSU Innovation BRIDGE, Prince of Songkla University seeks to strengthen collaboration between academia, industry, and the business community by creating pathways for research and innovation to be translated into practical applications. The initiative supports the development of new technology-based businesses, encourages the expansion of existing enterprises, and contributes to the University's long-term sustainability through innovation-driven partnerships. The University is home to a growing portfolio of high-quality research and inventions with strong commercial potential. Many of these innovations directly address the needs of the private sector and are well positioned for commercialization, reinforcing the University's commitment to generating meaningful impact through research, technology, and innovation.
