PSU Science Park signs MoU with RISE Accel to support startups and tech spin-offs
Prince of Songkla University, led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Niwat Keawpradup, President of the University, together with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sunton Wongsiri, Vice President for Research and Innovation, and Asst. Prof. Kamron Pitak, Director of PSU Science Park, joined representatives from RISE Accel Co., Ltd. in signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to promote the development of technology startups and spin-off companies, strengthen innovation and entrepreneurial capabilities, and provide strategic investment advisory services. The signing ceremony was held at PSU Science Park, Prince of Songkla University, Hat Yai District, Songkhla Province, on June 25, 2026.

The MOU was signed by Asst. Prof. Dr. Niwat Keawpradup, President of Prince of Songkla University, and Dr. Supachai Parchariyanon, CEO and Co-Founder of RISE and Managing Partner of SeaX Ventures. University executives, faculty members, representatives from partner organizations, and members of the media attended the ceremony as witnesses. The partnership aims to strengthen the University's innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem by connecting research, technology, and academic expertise with commercial opportunities. Through this collaboration, both organizations will support the creation and growth of high-potential technology startups and university spin-off companies, contributing to national economic and social development through innovation.


Under the agreement, Prince of Songkla University and RISE Accel will jointly organize activities to enhance the capabilities of researchers, faculty members, students, and aspiring entrepreneurs. These initiatives will include professional training, mentorship, business incubation, industry networking, and strategic investment advisory services, helping technology-based ventures build sustainable growth and compete in the global marketplace.
