PSU ranked 6th in Thailand and joint 81st in the world: THE Impact Rankings 2026




Prince of Songkla University (PSU) has been ranked 6th in Thailand and joint 81st globally in the Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings 2026, reaffirming its commitment to advancing sustainable development through education, research, and community engagement.

The THE Impact Rankings 2026 evaluated 1,646 universities from 116 countries and territories, measuring their contributions toward achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The results were officially announced on 24 June 2026.



PSU achieved an overall score of 90.3, placing 6th nationally and joint 81st in the world. The university was assessed across all 17 Sustainable Development Goals, reflecting its broad and continuous efforts to contribute to sustainable development through academic excellence, research, institutional governance, and public service.

The THE Impact Rankings assess universities across four key areas: Research, Stewardship, Outreach, and Teaching. An institution's overall score is calculated using its performance in SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) together with its three highest-scoring SDGs.

The 2026 results reflect Prince of Songkla University's ongoing dedication to creating meaningful impact through education, research, innovation, and collaboration in support of sustainable development, both nationally and internationally.
