PSU concludes the 22nd Graduate Competency Enhancement Program, empowering students for careers and entrepreneurship
Prince of Songkla University (PSU), through the Division of Student Development and Alumni Affairs, organized the closing ceremony of the 22nd Graduate Competency Enhancement Program for Entrepreneurship for the 2025 academic year on June 17, 2026, at Meeting Room 210, Office of the President, PSU Hat Yai Campus. The event marked the completion of the program and the presentation of certificates to students who successfully completed both the training and hands-on experience in the retail business sector.
During the ceremony, Ms. Tipwan Kongmak, Deputy General Manager of CP All Public Company Limited, congratulated the students and commended their commitment and dedication to learning through real-world experience. She emphasized that such experience serves as an essential foundation for professional growth and lifelong self-development.
Associate Professor Dr. Monthira Tanthanuch, Assistant to the President for Student Well-being, stated that throughout the nearly three-month program, students stepped outside their comfort zones to undertake practical training at 7-Eleven stores on Koh Phangan, Surat Thani Province. The experience required perseverance, responsibility, adaptability, and effective problem-solving skills. The presentations delivered by the students clearly reflected their growth and increasing professionalism.
Dr. Monthira also expressed appreciation to CP All Public Company Limited for serving as a valuable partner in providing authentic workplace learning opportunities. She further acknowledged the contributions of the Student Discipline, Well-being and Career Development Unit and all related staff members whose efforts ensured the program’s success.
Throughout the event, students shared their experiences and presented the knowledge they gained from their practical training, including retail management, customer service, inventory control, teamwork, and handling challenges in a dynamic work environment.
The program also featured a video presentation highlighting memorable moments from the training period, followed by the certificate presentation ceremony. The event celebrated students’ achievements in developing both professional competencies and essential soft skills, including responsibility, effective communication, and service excellence.
The Graduate Competency Enhancement Program is a collaborative initiative between Prince of Songkla University and CP All Public Company Limited. It aims to prepare students for the labor market while laying the foundation for future entrepreneurial ventures.
