PSU launches AI University On Tour 2026, starting at Surat Thani Campus
Prince of Songkla University has launched the PSU AI University On Tour 2026 project as part of its strategy to transform into a future-ready smart university. The first activity was held at Surat Thani Campus from May 14–15, 2026, focusing on enhancing staff capabilities and improving university operations through practical applications of artificial intelligence.
A key highlight was a hands-on workshop designed to strengthen AI knowledge and skills, while laying the foundation for an AI Governance Framework and ethical guidelines for the responsible use of AI in education.
In teaching and learning, the project aims to improve student learning experiences through the dotBLUE system and the development of AI Agents using dotBLUE Agent Builder. These tools can support personalized learning and the creation of AI Tutors tailored to students’ individual needs and potential.
The project also supports smarter university operations, helping administrative staff apply dotBLUE to improve workflow efficiency, reduce repetitive processes, and develop service-level agreements for faster, clearer, and more effective services.
The Surat Thani Campus activity marks an important step in building a model for responsible AI adoption across PSU. The university will continue expanding the initiative to Pattani Campus as the next destination, further strengthening AI knowledge and smart university development across all campuses.
