The Erasmus+ LEAN Project is funded by the European Union to promote international collaboration in the development of nursing education. PSU Faculty of Nursing serves as the lead coordinator of the project, which is scheduled to run from 2024 to 2027.

On this occasion, project participants from both domestic and international higher education institutions exchanged views on the development of nursing curricula, the application of modern technologies in elderly care, and approaches to strengthening academic cooperation networks among institutions.

From 6-8 April 2026, the project also scheduled a workshop in Hat Yai to provide participants with opportunities to exchange knowledge and experiences in nursing and elderly care through the use of modern technologies.

Institutions represented at the meeting included Faculty of Nursing, Chiang Mai University, Nam Dinh University of Nursing, Hanoi Medical University, and Thai Nguyen University of Medicine and Pharmacy of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

The implementation of this project shows PSU’s commitment to building international partnerships and developing new ideas in health and nursing to better support an ageing society in the future.
