Prince of Songkla University has a policy to support and provide assistance to students in vulnerable groups and students with disabilities, such as accommodation and scholarships.

Prince of Songkla University, Trang Campus, has established the Universal Design Center as part of a project to develop mechanisms that promote innovations for an aging society. Supported by the Thai Health Promotion Foundation (ThaiHealth), this initiative involves collaboration with five universities across the country: Prince of Songkla University, Chulalongkorn University, Chiang Mai University, Thammasat University, and Mahasarakham University.
The center aims to be a hub for learning about physical design tailored to the needs of the elderly and people with disabilities. It will serve as a central repository for research and innovations in this field, fostering knowledge exchange and understanding of universal design principles. Additionally, it will showcase innovative devices and facilities for seniors and people with disabilities and provide consultation services to local agencies looking to adapt public buildings to be more accessible and suitable for these groups.
