7.2.3 Carbon reduction and emission reduction process

Have a process for carbon management and reducing carbon dioxide emissions.
Prince of Songkla University (PSU) has been actively driving the university towards sustainable development in alignment with the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) established by the United Nations. These global goals, set for the period 2015-2030, aim to promote sustainable development worldwide. PSU’s efforts are also in line with the commitments of the 24th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP24), which set a target of achieving Net Zero Greenhouse Gas Emissions by 2030 to limit global temperature rise to no more than 1.5 degrees Celsius.
In accordance with Sections 34 and 39 of the Prince of Songkla University Act, B.E. 2559 (2016), PSU has issued the Prince of Songkla University Net Zero Emission Policy, B.E. 2566 (2023) as part of its commitment to achieving these objectives.
