6.4.2 Water reuse measurement

Metric: Water reuse

Measure the reuse of water across the university?

The university implements rainwater harvesting and water reuse systems as part of its sustainable landscape management efforts. It has designed a drainage system to collect surface runoff and rainwater from road surfaces, channeling it into reservoirs for water supply production. A portion of this water is used for agricultural purposes, such as watering plants within the campus area.
Additionally, treated wastewater is reused for irrigating the football field instead of using tap water. In 2024, a total of 44,308.89 cubic meters of treated wastewater and 1,000,801 cubic meters of groundwater were reused.
