Provide free drinking water for students, staff and/or visitors (e.g. drinking water fountains).
Prince of Songkla University provides free and accessible drinking water to students, staff, and visitors across all campuses. Drinking water fountains and dispensers are installed in key locations, including cafeterias, academic buildings, faculty offices, and public areas, to ensure convenience and continuous access.
In 2024, the University upgraded its drinking water system by installing high-quality water filters that meet national safety and hygiene standards. Regular maintenance and water quality checks are conducted to guarantee safe consumption for the university community, promoting health, sustainability, and environmental responsibility through the reduction of single-use plastic bottles.
