Processes to prevent polluted water entering the water system, including pollution caused by accidents and incidents at the university
Prince of Songkla University has separated the wastewater system from the clean water and rainwater systems to prevent them from mixing. Wastewater from buildings flows into a closed pipe system, leading to a wastewater treatment facility where it is treated to meet standards before being released externally. Meanwhile, the rainwater drainage system channels rainwater into drainage ditches and then into reservoirs.
