The delegation from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Malaysia, participated in the Benchmarking Activities at PSU.
On May 8–9, 2024, the delegation from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Malaysia, led by Prof. Ts. Dr. Salmiah Kasolang (Assistant Vice Chancellor Masmed Avc), participated in the Benchmarking Activities at PSU. The aim of this activity was for a comparative study case in promoting entrepreneurship at Prince of Songkla University.

In the morning of May 8, 2024, the UiTM delegation met with Asst. Prof. Dr. Pornpawee Phumkerd, Director of Princess Galyani Vadhana Institute of Cultural Studies, and visited the Lima Batik Fabric Factory to study the process of production by starting from the producing, marketing, and distribution into the market. Lima batik fabric is a pattern that was adapted from Lima fabric (Juantani fabric) printed on batik fabric, which caused development and maintained the art to drive the creative economy.

And in the afternoon of that day, the UiTM delegation travelled to meet with the administrators of the Halal Institute, Prince of Songkla University to discuss the cooperation in Halal affairs between the two universities. The delegation was welcomed by Dr. Orawit Bunchom, Deputy Director of the Halal Institute, Academic Services Research and Special Affairs Department, and Asst. Prof. Muhammad Mansur Madroh, Deputy Director of the Halal Institute, Academic Administration, and International Relations Department. In addition, the delegation also visited the operations of promoting Halal products, supporting the Halal industry of the Institute, including visiting Halal Spa services at the Halal Spa Building.

On May 9, 2024, a UiTM delegation met with university administrators at the Charoen Pradit Meeting Room (3rd floor), Pattani Campus Office, with Asst. Prof. Dr. Montira Leelakriangsak, Vice President for Academic Affairs, Pattani Campus, Asst. Prof. Dr. Worapark Maitreephun, Assistant President for Research and Social Mission, Pattani Campus, and Ms. Nursahida Useng, Assistant President for Human Resource and Organisational Development, Pattani Campus, welcomed. During the meeting, there was an experience sharing session exchange on fostering collaborative entrepreneurship between the two universities, along with faculty teachers from the Bachelor of Business Administration programme, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (Bachelor Business Administration Programme: BBA), and teachers from the Faculty of Islam, Islamic Business Innovation Programme (ISBI).
