As part of the Students Exchange Programme, Prince of Songkla University (PSU) Pattani Campus organized an orientation for 14 students from Universiti Malaysia Kelantan (UMK), Malaysia, on August 4, 2023.

The Vice President for Academic Affairs (Asst. Prof. Dr. Montira Leelakriangsak), the Assistant President for Research and Social Mission (Asst. Prof. Dr. Warapark Maitreephun), course instructors, and professional staff all warmly welcomed the UMK students at the orientation programme.

The Student Mobility Programme strives to foster an international ambiance on campus through various activities, such as teaching students English language proficiency and providing them with skills training for surviving in a global society. While taking part in extracurricular activities, this programme also seeks to improve the intercultural competency and communication skills of PSU and UMK students.

In this program, the tuition waiver is granted by PSU to oversea students. Apart from taking academic courses, this program offers inbound students to participate in a cultural exchange program with Thai students, enjoy sightseeing in Pattani and other provinces, learn the Thai language, try Thai food and costume, and engage in Pattani Heritage communities.
