PSU and NEUST, Philippines, Sign Online MOU to Strengthen International Academic Collaboration.
On 19 November 2025, Prince of Songkla University, Pattani Campus, held an online signing ceremony for a university-level Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology (NEUST), Philippines. The agreement aims to enhance academic cooperation and institutional capacity at the international level.
The MOU was signed by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Montira Leelakriangsak, Vice President for Academic Affairs, Pattani Campus, representing PSU Pattani, and Dr. Rhodora R. Jugo, President of NEUST. Asst. Prof. Dr. Warapark Maitreephun, Assistant President for Research and Social Mission, Pattani Campus, also participated in discussions on long-term collaborative opportunities.
The partnership focuses on key areas such as student and faculty exchanges to promote cross-cultural learning, joint research activities, overseas internships and teaching practicums, knowledge sharing, and opportunities to offer courses through the UMAP (University Mobility in Asia and the Pacific).
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Montira emphasized that this MOU reflects PSU’s commitment to advancing academic excellence, research, and personnel development, while strengthening students’ competitiveness on the global stage. The collaboration with NEUST marks an important step toward future joint initiatives that will bring sustainable benefits to both institutions.
