PSU Pattani Welcomes IIUM Malaysia to Exchange and Develop Internationalized Curricula, Strengthening Sustainable Academic Collaboration







    On 29 August 2025, Prince of Songkla University, Pattani Campus, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Montira Leelakriangsak, Vice President for Academic Affairs, together with Asst. Prof. Dr. Bordin Waelateh. Vice President For Student Development And Alumni Affairs, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Warapark Maitreephun, Assistant President for Research and Social Mission, warmly welcomed representatives from the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM).

    The IIUM delegation was headed by Madam Ruzai Syarilili Aiyu Abd. Rashid, Deputy Director of the Credited Co-Curricular Centre, and Madam Rahaidah Ramli, Senior Assistant Director of the Credited Co-Curricular Centre. The primary purpose of the visit was to hold discussions and exchange academic expertise, particularly in developing joint curricula to enhance internationalization for students of both universities.

    Both institutions shared a mutual vision to advance curriculum development in alignment with global educational contexts. This collaboration is expected to elevate the quality of teaching and learning while equipping students with new skills essential for becoming future global citizens.

    This partnership also lays a strong foundation for building an enduring academic network between PSU and IIUM. Beyond curriculum development, it will foster friendship, strengthen institutional ties, and contribute to sustainable academic cooperation in the years to come.
