PSU Pattani Launches First Round of “English World Café Program” to Boost Workplace English Communication Skills







    Prince of Songkla University, Pattani Campus, continues its commitment to fostering global citizenship by organizing the first round of the “English World Café Program.” This initiative aims to strengthen students’ English communication skills in professional settings through simulated real-life scenarios, offering practical experience and building confidence for future careers.

    Held on 2 July 2025 at Room 58105, Building 58, the event featured interactive, hands-on activities using the World Café format — a participatory approach where students rotate among various themed tables to engage in guided English discussions relevant to workplace contexts.

    The event was officially opened by Asst. Prof. Dr. Montira Leelakriangsak, Vice President for Academic Affairs, who highlighted the growing importance of English communication in today’s globalized world and reaffirmed the university’s dedication to experiential learning.

    Prof. Dr. Warapark Maitreephun, Assistant to the President for Research and Social Mission, also shared the background and objectives of the program, emphasizing the need for professional English skills delivered through a friendly and engaging format. During the program, participants practiced English communication in diverse scenarios, including:

    Students from multiple faculties participated in the activity, gaining valuable experience in using English across different professional contexts. The program not only enhanced their language proficiency but also fostered self-confidence, creativity, and collaborative teamwork.
