PSU Pattani Hosts Second TICA Roadshow to Promote International Development Cooperation







    On February 17, 2025, at the Parichayakorn Meeting Room, Prince of Songkla University, Pattani Campus, the Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand, in collaboration with Prince of Songkla University, Pattani Campus, hosted the second TICA Roadshow.

    The event was officially opened by Asst. Prof. Dr. Warapark Maitreephun, Assistant President for Research and Social Mission, Pattani Campus, alongside Ms. Pin Sridurongkatum, Secretary of the Department, Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), as well as TICA members, faculty members, and students from PSU Pattani.

    The program featured insightful sessions, including:  
    - "Diplomacy for Development" by Ms. Pin Sridurongkatum  
    - "Volunteer Experiences Abroad" led by Thai volunteers  
    - "Thailand''s Cooperation with the United Nations" by the Department of International Organizations, Ministry of Foreign Affairs  
    - "International Economic Cooperation" by the Department of International Economic Affairs  
    - "Career Paths in International Affairs," a special career-sharing session led by professionals in the field 

    The TICA Roadshow aimed to raise awareness and promote Thailand’s international development cooperation efforts while emphasizing the country’s role on the global stage. The event received strong support from PSU executives, with 70 students from the Faculty of Political Science and approximately 16 students from other faculties actively participating. This initiative provided young people with valuable opportunities to learn more about Thailand’s engagement in international cooperation.

    On this occasion, Prince of Songkla University, Pattani Campus, extends the sincere gratitude to TICA and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for sharing their knowledge and experiences with our students. This initiative will benefit young people, enhance their understanding of international relations, and inspire them to take an active role in global cooperation in the future.
