Prince of Songkla University, Pattani Campus, Welcomes Delegation from Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin (UniSZA), Malaysia
Prince of Songkla University (PSU), Pattani Campus, recently hosted an official visit from a delegation of Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin (UniSZA), Malaysia. The visit aimed to explore opportunities for academic collaboration and student exchange programs. The delegation was warmly received on January 17, 2025, by Asst.Prof.Dr. Montira Leelakriangsak (Vice President for Academic Affairs, Pattani Campus) Asst.Prof.Dr. Bordin Waelateh (Vice President for Student Development and Alumni Affairs, Pattani Campus) Asst.Prof.Dr. Warapark Maitreephun (Assistant President for Research and Social Mission, Pattani Campus) along with the President of the Student Organization and its committee members.
The visit focused on fostering academic and cultural exchange between the two universities. Activities included a discussion forum for students from both institutions to exchange ideas, a panel discussion on collaborative approaches to education and research, as well as presentations on joint projects and initiatives undertaken by students from both sides.
During the visit, PSU Pattani also received a Zakat fund donation of 23,000 Baht from UniSZA. This contribution will support student activities and enhance the welfare of the student community. The funds will be allocated towards community development projects and aid for underprivileged students. This visit not only strengthened the ties between the two universities but also provided students with opportunities to learn and grow in a globalized academic environment.
