PSU wins 2026 Thai MOOC Award for Excellence in Online Course Development
Prince of Songkla University (PSU) has received the 2026 Thai MOOC Award in the category of Excellence in Thai MOOC Course Development for its course series on Nursing and Digital Health Technology, led by Associate Professor Dr. Kantaporn Yodchai.
The award highlights PSU’s strength in developing innovative learning experiences and integrating health sciences with digital technology to meet the changing needs of education in the digital era.
The award ceremony was held on 6 August 2026 as part of The 17th TCU International e-Learning Conference 2026 (IEC2026) and The 5th International Conference on Educational Communication and Technology 2026 (ICTAECT2026) at the Asia Hotel Bangkok. The opening ceremony was presided over by Dr. Wannee Nonsiri, Chief Inspector General of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation.
The 2026 Thai MOOC Awards recognize institutions for outstanding achievements in online learning development. A total of eight awards were presented this year, with PSU receiving recognition for excellence in the development of its online course series in nursing and digital health technology.
The achievement reflects PSU’s commitment to combining academic expertise with digital technology to create accessible and flexible learning opportunities. It also supports lifelong learning and the development of future-ready skills that respond to the evolving needs of society and the professional world.
The international conferences were held from 6 to 7 August 2026 under the theme “Resilient Minds: AI and Online Learning for Uncertain Times.” Organized through the Thailand Cyber University Project (TCU) in collaboration with partner organizations, the event brought together more than 500 executives, academics, and experts, both on-site and online, to exchange knowledge and perspectives on artificial intelligence, educational technology, and the future of online learning in a rapidly changing world.
