SCB continues supporting PSU for the fourth consecutive year, strengthening education and strategic collaboration
Siam Commercial Bank (SCB), represented by Ms. Wantanee Surapiboon, Senior Vice President, Corporate Banking 2 Client Coverage 2.1, presented a financial contribution of THB 1 million to Prince of Songkla University (PSU) to support educational initiatives and student development activities. The donation was received by Associate Professor Dr. Wasin Suwannarat, Vice President for Hat Yai Campus, on July 16, 2026.
This marks the fourth consecutive year of SCB’s support under a five-year commitment totaling THB 9.5 million. The funding is allocated to the Office of Digital Innovation and Intelligent Systems (THB 4 million), Hat Yai Campus (THB 3.5 million), and the PSU APP Development Project (THB 2 million).
Over the past four years, SCB has continuously supported the University with THB 5.2 million in 2023, THB 1 million in 2024, THB 1 million in 2025, and THB 1 million in 2026. This year's contribution includes THB 300,000 for the Office of Digital Innovation and Intelligent Systems, THB 300,000 for Hat Yai Campus, and THB 400,000 for the PSU APP Development Project. An additional THB 1.3 million is planned for 2027, completing the five-year commitment.
During the meeting, representatives from SCB and PSU also discussed opportunities to expand their collaboration, including long-term strategic partnerships and initiatives related to wealth management advisory and referral services, with the aim of creating mutual value in the future.
