PSU undergoes the 522nd AUN-QA Assessment for four programs across four faculties
Prince of Songkla University, led by President Asst. Prof. Dr. Niwat Keawpradub, together with the university’s executives and staff, warmly welcomed the assessment committee for the 522nd AUN-QA Programme Assessment under the ASEAN University Network Quality Assurance framework. The assessment aimed to further enhance the university’s educational standards in line with quality assurance practices across ASEAN. The event was held at the 60th Anniversary of His Majesty the King’s Accession to the Throne International Convention Center, Prince of Songkla University, Hat Yai Campus, from 8 to 10 June 2026.

The assessment covered four academic programs from four faculties of Prince of Songkla University: the Bachelor of Science Program in Radiological Technology, Faculty of Medicine; the Bachelor of Arts Program in English, Faculty of Liberal Arts; the Master of Nursing Science Program in Pediatric Nursing, Faculty of Nursing; and the Master of Engineering Program in Computer Engineering, Faculty of Engineering.

Asst. Prof. Dr. Niwat Keawpradub, President of Prince of Songkla University, said the university was deeply honored to host this important occasion, which reflects a shared commitment to quality and academic excellence in higher education across the ASEAN region. He added that this occasion was particularly meaningful, as PSU was not only participating in the AUN-QA programme assessment but was also entrusted by the ASEAN University Network to host the AUN-QA Tier 2 Assessor Training Workshop. This opportunity reflects AUN-QA’s confidence in the university and reaffirms PSU’s commitment to promoting a culture of quality, continuous improvement, and regional collaboration.
Prince of Songkla University recognizes the AUN-QA assessment process as a valuable opportunity for reflection, learning, and quality enhancement. The constructive feedback and recommendations from the assessment committee will support the university’s ongoing efforts to improve its academic programs, ranging from curriculum design and teaching and learning processes to student support systems and overall educational quality.
