Contribute to local arts, in terms of number of annual public performances of university choirs, theatre groups, orchestras etc… either ad-hoc or as part of an ongoing programme
Prince of Songkla University (PSU) plays a vital role in preserving and promoting national arts and cultural performances, with a special focus on Southern Thai performance traditions. In academics, PSU’s Trang campus offers an undergraduate program in Performing Arts Design and Innovation, while the Pattani campus provides studies in Fashion and Apparel within the Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts. Additionally, the Princess Galyani Vadhana Institute of Cultural Studies conducts research and offers community training in traditional local performances, ensuring the preservation and continuation of these cultural arts for future generations.
