Programmes or initiatives to assist students who fall into the bottom 20% of household income group (or a more tightly defined target) in the country to successfully complete their studies.
Prince of Songkla University, through the Student Welfare and Scholarship Division, Office of Student Development and Alumni Relations, Hat Yai Campus, organized the “Tiwnong Klongjai Saiyai Ton Kla Songkhla Nakharin” Project for the 2024 academic year. The project aims to prepare students for higher education and strengthen relationships among recipients of the PSU Sapling Scholarships, who are currently studying in upper secondary schools across the 14 southern provinces, and PSU students from the five campuses.
Associate Professor Dr. Wirote Yurawong, Vice President for Student Development and Alumni Relations, presided over the opening ceremony. The event was attended by university executives, staff, and over 200 PSU Sapling Scholarships, both from secondary and university levels. It was held at the Main Auditorium, 2nd Floor, Sports Center, Prince of Songkla University, Hat Yai Campus, on October 26, 2024.
