PSU in Women Thailand Cyber Top Talent Competition

Prince of Songkla University (PSU) actively promotes women’s participation in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM), particularly in areas where women remain underrepresented, such as cybersecurity and information technology.

As part of this commitment, PSU sent the “Supermeaw”, “i go meaw”, and “LongPlayplay” teams, consisting of female students from the Faculty of Science, to compete in the Women Thailand Cyber Top Talent 2024, organized by the National Cybersecurity Agency (NCSA) in collaboration with leading universities and partner organizations nationwide.

The competition aims to develop digital literacy, cybersecurity awareness, and technical problem-solving skills among young women. PSU’s involvement provides students with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience, mentorship from cybersecurity experts, and exposure to national-level challenges in ethical hacking and digital defense.

Through participation in this national campaign, PSU demonstrates its dedication to empowering women in STEM, fostering confidence and leadership among female students, and encouraging greater gender balance in technology-related disciplines.
