4. Qualification of applications
Plan 1.1
1) Graduated from a Master Degree in Rubber Science, Rubber Technology, Materials Engineering or other related field with GPA no less than 3.50 or required at least on international publication or patent in the field of rubber technology.
2) Applicants with qualifications other than mentioned will be under the consideration of the Program committee.
Plan 1.2
1) Graduated from a Bachelor Degree in Rubber Science, Rubber Technology, Materials Engineering or other related field with very good academic results or required at least on international publication or patent in the field of rubber technology.
2) Applicants with qualifications other than mentioned will be under the consideration of the Program committee.
Plan 2.1
1) Graduated from a Master Degree in Rubber Science, Rubber Technology, Materials Engineering or other related field with GPA no less than 3.25 or required at least on international publication or patent in the field of rubber technology.
2) Applicants with qualifications other than mentioned will be under the consideration of the Program committee.

7. Program’s Introduction
The Doctor of Philosophy Program in Rubber Technology aims to produce researchers, innovative developers, and academic leaders in rubber technology who have advanced knowledge, are adaptable to changing circumstances, and are capable of solving problems and developing in the rubber industry that is accepted both nationally and internationally. Graduates are creative and academic dependents of the workplace and concerned with moral ethics, professional ethics, the public mind, and social responsibility.
The research areas considered in Production technology of natural rubber or synthetic rubber; Characterization of raw materials; Processing and rubber products; Research and development of thermoplastic elastomer; Chemical modification of rubber; Development of composite and nanocomposite rubber; or related research such as polymers and biomaterials, etc.
