PSU Council convenes to outline strategic directions for advancing the development of Surat Thani Campus
On 20 May 2025, the PSU Council convened a meeting at Surat Thani Campus Office Building, to discuss strategies for advancing the university’s operations. The meeting also served as a platform for gathering feedback and suggestions from campus executives and academic personnel. The session was chaired by Prof. Dr. Sanit Aksornkoae, President of the PSU Council, and attended by Asst. Prof. Dr. Niwat Keawpradub, President of PSU, Asst. Prof. Dr. Pongthep Sutheravut, Vice President for Administration and Strategy, Council members, Assoc. Prof. Suchada Tipmontree, Vice President for Surat Thani Campus, along with executives and academic staff from the campus.



The meeting was held to exchange ideas and establish future development directions. Assoc. Prof. Suchada presented a multi-dimensional development plan under the concept of “Surat SMART,” aiming to elevate the campus toward excellence in personnel, infrastructure, organization, economy, community, and learning. A key focus of the discussion was to promote the campus as a “Smart Campus.” Feedback and suggestions from the PSU Council were also welcomed to further develop and drive Surat Thani Campus toward becoming a leading institution.
