PSU administrators pay courtesy visit to Saudi Arabia Ambassador, strengthening academic collaboration between the two nations




On 17 March 2025, a PSU delegation led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Niwat Keawpradub, President, and consisting of Asst. Prof. Dr. Thakerng Wongsirichot, Vice President for Academic and International Affairs; Asst. Prof. Dr. Attachai Ueranantasun, Vice President for Pattani Campus; and Asst. Prof. Dr. Cherdchai Udomphan, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences; alongside faculty members from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, paid a courtesy visit to H. E. Mr. Abdulrahman Abdulaziz Alsuhaibani, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Kingdom of Thailand. The meeting took place at the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Thailand.





The visit aimed to provide updates on the progress of ongoing collaborations with the King Salman Global Academy for Arabic Language in Saudi Arabia. Additionally, the delegation presented proposals to further strengthen cooperation, including the establishment of the Saudi Arabian Language and Cultural Center at PSU Pattani Campus to promote and disseminate Saudi Arabian language and culture. Discussions also included the establishment of the Arabic Proficiency Testing Center (Hamza Test) and joint academic projects such as the development of a Thai-Arabic dictionary.

His Excellency expressed strong support for these initiatives and affirmed a commitment to facilitating academic collaboration. The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences indicated that they will work closely with the King Salman Global Academy for Arabic Language to implement these plans. Furthermore, both parties discussed potential areas of collaboration that would mutually benefit the people of both nations.
