PSU signs partnership agreement with Altai State Pedagogical University, Russia




20 February 2025 – Prince of Songkla University successfully held a virtual signing ceremony for a Partnership Agreement with Altai State Pedagogical University (ASPU), Russia. 

The agreement was officially signed by PSU President Asst. Prof. Dr. Niwat Keawpradub, and ASPU Rector Prof. Dr. Irina Lazarenko. Several representatives from both universities attended the ceremony. On PSU’s side, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Janya Chanchaichujit, Assistant President for Promotion of Foreign Affairs, along with staff members from the Global Affairs and Corporate Communications Center, participated in the event. ASPU was represented both onsite by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mikahil Vlasov from the Department of the Russian Language and Literature, and online by the ASPU administration at their Barnaul and Biysk campuses.




This agreement aims to strengthen academic collaboration between PSU and ASPU, focusing on the development of Russian language teaching at PSU’s Russian Language Learning Center in Phuket Campus, joint research projects, faculty and student exchanges, and other academic activities agreed upon by both institutions.

This collaboration reflects the commitment of both universities to promoting quality language education, academic exchange, and research collaboration, providing opportunities for students and faculty to develop their international competencies. It marks a significant step for PSU in expanding its global partnership network and enhancing its academic internationalization efforts.
