PSU participates in 5th AUN-AYCF Thailand, receives host flag for 6th event in 2026




PSU, as part of the ASEAN University Network, joined Chulalongkorn University, Burapha University, Chiang Mai University, Mahidol University, and the ASEAN University Network – AUN Youth Cultural Forum Thailand (AUN-AYCF THAILAND) to organize the opening ceremony of the 5th AUN-AYCF THAILAND. Hosted by Mahidol University, the event took place from 3 to 8 February 2025 at Mahidol University, Nakhon Pathom province. The project aims to raise awareness of the importance of ASEAN arts and culture among higher education institutions and students, while fostering a strong collaborative network to promote ASEAN arts and culture through the AUN-AYCF Thailand platform.



Activities of the project included networking sessions for participants, workshops on ASEAN arts integration performances, the 1st AUN-AYCF Thailand Executive Committee Meeting for 2025, and presentations of ASEAN arts integration performances.



The PSU delegation, consisting of Dr. Chanakit Thanasuk, Director of the Princess Galyani Vadhana Institute of Cultural Studies; Asst. Prof. Dr. Pornpawee Pumkerd, Deputy Director of the Institute; along with PSU staff and students, attended the event.



Additionally, PSU was honored to be named the host of the 6th AUN-AYCF Thailand in 2026, receiving the symbolic flag during the ceremony. This presents a significant opportunity for PSU to continue promoting ASEAN arts and culture on the national stage.
