Prof. Christopher Elliott from Queen's University Belfast visits Prince of Songkla University
On 7 October 2024, the International Center of Excellence in Seafood Science and Innovation (ICE-SSI), Faculty of Agro-Industry, Prince of Songkla University, in collaboration with the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA) Food Security Research Center at Thammasat University, and the Institute for Global Food Security at Queen’s University Belfast, organized a seminar titled "Fighting Global Food Fraud with Analytical Chemistry." The seminar was delivered by Prof. Dr. Christopher Elliott, Professor of Food Safety and founder of the Institute for Global Food Security at Queen’s University Belfast, UK.
On the same day, Prof. Elliott also paid a courtesy visit to Asst. Prof. Dr. Niwat Keawpradub, President of Prince of Songkla University, to discuss and exchange ideas on promoting collaboration in research between the two universities, especially in seafood innovation. Prof. Elliott also visited the ICE-SSI at PSU Faculty of Agro-Industry and discussed more details on the future collaboration between Queen’s University Belfast and PSU.
