President asks new employees to be proud of the university

Assoc. Prof. Bunsom Siribumrungsuk, PSU President in his speech during the orientation for new academic employee and personnel said that all must realize what prestige and renown the university has in order to be proud of it.

In the near future, PSU will be all set in terms of its physical structures, quality of personnel, and status of being the institution for people to acquire knowledge. There will be a lot of construction in all five campuses: large convention center, sports center and large building. Its 225 academic staff are on their study leave for a Ph.D. and will be back to share their knowledge with the students. The university graduates will be trained to have public mind, not to be self-centered and a problem in the society.

PSU’s quests starts from the local level with the intention to join the southern people in developing the area, life quality and economy. At the national level, it aims to become a leading university in a higher rank. At the ASEAN level, it hopes to become the study hub for the ASEAN community and at the world level, it projects to be one of the first 300 quality university of the world.
